WHAT IS SERAPIS SSE?

Delivered by QinetiQ Training & Simulation, Serapis SSE is at the forefront of the UK’s research of next-generation Simulation and Synthetic Environments and their associated tools and systems. The programme – one of six lots of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s (Dstl) six-year Serapis framework agreement – is focused on identifying and exploiting over-the-horizon technologies in support of the MoD Chief Scientific Advisor’s research programme, and for Front Line Commands and cross-governmental departments.

WHY JOIN?

Signing up to become a member of Serapis SSE’s community of practice affords your organisation visibility of – and the opportunity to support – Dstl, Ministry of Defence and wider government requirements relating to simulation and synthetic environments. The registration process is intentionally quick to navigate, relieving the administrative burden on prospective partners from industry (including small and medium-sized enterprises), academia and non-traditional defence suppliers.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Although much of Serapis SSE’s work is focused on leveraging technology to address complex challenges, the process of signing up to contribute your expertise is easy. To join the framework, suppliers need to follow four simple steps:

  • Express your interest in Serapis SSE by emailing serapis_sse@nsc.co.uk;
  • By return, you will be asked to complete a Supplier Registration form, Working Practices Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Capability Statement;
  • Finally, baseline terms and conditions will be agreed using our enabling agreement.
